In-House Solicitor | Enfranchisement | 12 Month FTC

AJ Chambers is working with a property management company in South Essex and they are currently recruiting an experienced Leasehold Enfranchisement Solicitor to join their in-house legal team on a 12 month FTC.

You’ll be getting involved in a range of leasehold matters including:

• Manage a caseload of leasehold enfranchisement matters from instruction through to completion.
\n
• Advise leaseholders on statutory and voluntary lease extensions.
\n
• Act on collective enfranchisement claims for residential leaseholders.
\n
• Advise freeholders in responding to enfranchisement and lease extension claims.
\n
• Handle Right to Manage (RTM) applications and related matters.
\n
• Draft and review statutory notices, counter-notices, transfer deeds, leases, licences, and settlement agreements.
\n
• Negotiate terms with solicitors, surveyors, and other professional advisers.
\n
• Provide strategic advice on complex enfranchisement issues and valuation principles.
\n
• Liaise with valuers, managing agents, lenders, and the Land Registry.
\n

This company is looking to have someone start by September and will offer a competitive package.
