As we continue to scale, we're looking for a Recruitment & People Operations Executive who loves creating exceptional experiences for both candidates and employees.

You'll play a key role in helping us attract brilliant people while ensuring the operational side of the employee lifecycle runs smoothly.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and wants exposure across the entire People function with the opportunity to move into a People partnering role over the next 3-6months.

The Role

You'll support KareHero across two key areas:

\n

Talent Acquisition

\n

Helping us find and hire exceptional people quickly and efficiently

\n


\n

People Operations

\n

Ensuring our people processes are efficient, organised and provide a brilliant employee experience from offer through to offboarding.

\n

No two days will look the same.

\n


\n

What You'll Be Doing

\n

Recruitment

\n
    \n
  • Own end-to-end recruitment for junior to mid-level roles.
  • \n
  • Source candidates across LinkedIn, referrals and direct outreach.
  • \n
  • Conduct initial screening interviews.
  • \n
  • Coordinate interview processes.
  • \n
  • Partner with hiring managers to deliver a great recruitment experience.
  • \n
  • Maintain our applicant tracking and recruitment data.
  • \n
  • Build talent pipelines for future hiring.
  • \n
  • Support employer branding initiatives.
  • \n
\n

Onboarding

\n
    \n
  • Coordinate onboarding for all new starters.
  • \n
  • Prepare contracts and offer documentation.
  • \n
  • Ensure equipment, system access and induction plans are in place.
  • \n
  • Deliver a smooth onboarding experience from acceptance to Day One.
  • \n
\n

People Operations

\n
    \n
  • Support monthly payroll preparation by collating payroll changes.
  • \n
  • Maintain employee records and HR systems.
  • \n
  • Manage probation review administration.
  • \n
  • Assist with performance review cycles.
  • \n
  • Support policy implementation.
  • \n
  • Prepare employment documentation including promotions, salary changes and contract amendments.
  • \n
  • Coordinate offboarding processes.
  • \n
  • Maintain the company asset register.
  • \n
  • Support audits and compliance activities.
  • \n

About You

\n

We're looking for someone who:

\n
    \n
  • Has experience in recruitment, HR administration or People Operations.
  • \n
  • Loves creating organised, scalable processes.
  • \n
  • Has exceptional attention to detail.
  • \n
  • Enjoys speaking with people and building relationships.
  • \n
  • Is proactive and follows through.
  • \n
  • Can manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • \n
  • Is confident working independently.
  • \n
  • Is comfortable in a fast-moving startup.
  • \n

  • Experience working in a startup or scaling technology business.

  • Experience with payroll administration.
  • \n
  • Experience using HRIS and ATS platforms.

  • Understanding of UK employment legislation.

  • Ensured payroll changes are accurate and submitted on time

Stage 1 - Apply with your CV

Stage 2 - Screening call (over Google meet) with Richa, our People and Talent Lead - 35-40’. This will be an opportunity to get to know each other better.

\n

Stage 3 - (Likely task-based) Interview with a member of the extended leadership team - 60’. We will assess your job-related skills.

Stage 4 - In-person interview with Stephanie Leung, our founder and CEO covering values - 60’
