Minibus Driver

Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for a Minibus driver to join our client on a permanent basis.Your role will be to provide safe and reliable transport for adults with complex needs, delivering scheduled transport routes to and from the centre in Harborne. This role also includes maintaining high vehicle safety standards, and undertaking required training to ensure transport is delivered safely, professionally and in line with organisation values.About this client:A charity organisation in Birmingham, delivering community support services to disabled people across Birmingham and the surrounding areas.Key Responsibilities:Safely transport individuals to and from home, appointments, and activities in line with schedulesAdhere with all traffic laws, regulations and orgnaisational propertiesAdapt driving approach to meet the needs of individuals with visual impairments and complex needsAssist individuals when boarding and exiting vehicles, including use of mobility aids where required. Ensure seat belts, wheelchair restraints and other safety equipment are used correctlyCarry out daily vehicle checks and maintenance, reporting any issues promptlyMaintain accurate records of vehicle use, mileage and checksRequirements:Full, clean UK driving licenceD1 licenceExperience of driving passengersAbility to conduct yourself in a calm and respectful manner, reliable, punctual and flexible approach to work.
