Quality and Compliance operative - freight

Our client is looking for an experienced Quality & Compliance Executive to join their team at their London Heathrow office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong quality and compliance background who enjoys improving processes, maintaining high standards, and driving continuous improvement through digital solutions.

Duties:

\n
• Support the delivery of quality and compliance processes across the business.
\n
• Conduct internal audits across UK offices and assist with external accreditation audits.
\n
• Manage quality management systems (QMS), incident reporting and corrective actions.
\n
• Some travel to other UK offices and client site visits
\n
• Carry out root cause analysis and implement preventative improvements.
\n
• Monitor compliance, identify risks and recommend process enhancements.
\n
• Deliver training and compliance presentations to internal teams.
\n
• Produce reports, analyse data and maintain accurate records in line with ISO standards.
\n
• Work closely with managers across the business to promote quality and compliance best practice.
\n

Experience required:

\n
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a quality or compliance role.
\n
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and digital business systems.
\n
• Experience with data analysis, reporting and document management.
\n
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
\n
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
\n
• Proactive, detail-oriented and committed to continuous improvement.
\n

\n
• Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
\n
• HMRC Customs & Compliance knowledge.
\n
• Aviation Security experience is advantageous.
\n
