About the Company
\nLeading professional services organisation seeks Commercial Legal Counsel to join its established in-house legal team. The role can be based in London or across the regions, with flexible and hybrid working available.
\nAbout the Role
\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative Office of General Counsel, working as part of a highly regarded contracts team that supports the organisation’s service lines and business functions to enable growth while managing risk across a wide range of commercial relationships.
\nResponsibilities
\n- \n
- Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts with key clients, including master services agreements and public-sector framework agreements. \n
- Managing supplier, subcontractor and third-party agreements such as collaboration, reseller and sponsorship arrangements. \n
- Advising on international contracts, data-sharing agreements, secondment agreements, software supply contracts and other commercial contracting matters. \n
- Working closely with client-facing partners, quality and risk teams and other internal stakeholders to identify, assess and mitigate legal and commercial risk. \n
- Supporting the delivery of excellent client service. \n
- Keeping abreast of developments in contract law and professional liability, sharing knowledge with the team, delivering training. \n
- Helping to leverage AI tools to improve ways of working. \n
Qualifications
\nYou will be a qualified lawyer (over 3 PQE) with strong commercial contracting experience. Experience within a professional services or similarly regulated environment would be advantageous, as would knowledge of data protection, intellectual property, public sector contracting and broader commercial risk management.
