About the Opportunity

\n

Our client is a fast-growing specialist strategy consultancy operating at the intersection of Animal Health, life sciences and innovation. They partner with global organisations ranging from multinational corporations and private equity investors to high-growth companies and emerging businesses, helping clients make critical strategic and commercial decisions.

\n

\n

The firm has built a strong international reputation for delivering high-impact advisory work across corporate strategy, commercial excellence, market assessment, mergers & acquisitions, transaction support and data-driven decision making.

\n

\n

With ambitious growth plans over the next five years, this is an exciting opportunity to join a business where talented consultants are given meaningful responsibility, direct client exposure and accelerated career progression from an early stage.

\n

\n

The Role

\n

As a Strategy Consultant, you will work closely with senior consultants and partners to solve complex commercial and strategic challenges for clients across the life sciences sector.

\n

You'll contribute throughout the full project lifecycle - from defining key business questions and conducting research through to analysing data, developing strategic recommendations and presenting findings directly to clients.

\n

Projects are varied and may include:

\n
    \n
  • Corporate and growth strategy
  • \n
  • Commercial due diligence
  • \n
  • M&A strategy and transaction support
  • \n
  • Market entry and expansion strategy
  • \n
  • Competitive intelligence and market assessment
  • \n
  • Portfolio optimisation
  • \n
  • Pricing and commercial excellence
  • \n
  • Business transformation initiatives
  • \n

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to support strategic projects.
  • \n
  • Analyse complex commercial, financial and market data to generate actionable insights.
  • \n
  • Develop clear, evidence-based recommendations for clients.
  • \n
  • Build financial models and commercial assessments where appropriate.
  • \n
  • Prepare high-quality presentations and reports for senior client audiences.
  • \n
  • Participate in client meetings, workshops and presentations.
  • \n
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary project teams.
  • \n
  • Manage workstreams while balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • \n
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, thought leadership and internal knowledge sharing.
  • \n
\n

\n

About You

\n

We're looking for ambitious individuals who enjoy solving complex problems and thrive in a collaborative consulting environment.

\n

You'll likely have:

\n
    \n
  • Experience within strategy consulting, commercial consulting or corporate strategy.
  • \n
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • \n
  • The ability to synthesise complex information into clear recommendations.
  • \n
  • Experience working with data and developing commercial insights.
  • \n
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • \n
  • A proactive mindset with the confidence to take ownership of workstreams.
  • \n
  • A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline. A postgraduate qualification is advantageous but not essential.
  • \n
\n

\n

Experience within life sciences, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices or related sectors would be beneficial, although exceptional consultants from other industries will also be considered.

\n

\n

What You'll Gain

\n

This opportunity offers significantly more responsibility than many larger consulting firms, allowing you to develop your consulting career at pace.

\n

You'll benefit from:

\n
    \n
  • Direct exposure to senior partners and client executives from day one.
  • \n
  • A transparent, merit-based career progression framework.
  • \n
  • The opportunity to work on high-profile strategic projects with international organisations.
  • \n
  • Mentoring from experienced consulting leaders.
  • \n
  • Hybrid working with flexibility around office and client commitments.
  • \n
  • Performance-related bonus and long-term incentive opportunities.
  • \n
  • International project exposure across Europe, North America and other global markets.
  • \n
  • A collaborative culture built on trust, integrity, respect and shared success.
  • \n
\n

\n

Why Join?

\n

If you're looking for a consultancy where you'll make a genuine impact rather than becoming one of hundreds of consultants, this represents an outstanding opportunity.

\n

You'll join a growing specialist firm with ambitious expansion plans, giving you the chance to shape both client outcomes and your own career. You'll work on intellectually challenging strategic projects, collaborate directly with experienced partners and build expertise in one of the fastest-growing areas of the global life sciences market.

\n

This is an ideal opportunity for someone seeking the pace and variety of top-tier strategy consulting combined with the visibility, responsibility and career acceleration that only a high-growth boutique consultancy can offer.
