Print Finishers & Bindery OperatorsJob Type: Full time/PermanentShifts: Treble Shift Pattern (Average 40 hours per week 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am)Location: WiltshireSalary: Circa £35,000 per annum plus OvertimeOne of the UKs leading print groups has the opportunity for experienced Print Finishers, Guillotine Operators or Bindery Operators to join their team.Working a Continental Triple shift system, you will be responsible for managing the operating bindery equipment including folders, guillotines and binding machines.You will be responsible for producing finished products to the highest quality and as efficiently as the job and machinery will allow. If you have similar experience with print finishing or binding in a comparable environment, re-training will be considered.Competencies:Previous experience in a print production or bindery environment preferredKnowledge of bindery equipment operation and finishing processesAbility to read and understand production specifications and work instructionsStrong attention to detail and quality standardsGood problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBasic mechanical aptitudeGood communication and organisational skills.IT LiteracyCommitted to working to high standards and under pressureBeing organised and scheduling own time and activities, monitor progress and stay on top of own workloadFlexible, reliable and trustworthyDuties include:Set up machinery to produce jobs in line with job bag instructions.Allocate tasks to crew members (If applicable)Keep the work area tidy and machinery in good order to ensure all work is correctly labeled and quarantine procedures are followed.Ensure that jobs are completed in a timely manner and are inline with despatch instructionsEnsure Company Health, safety and environmental procedures are followed.Personal Attributes:Strong numeracy and literacy skills are essential.Enthusiasm and drive to work within a busy department.If youre seeking a technical print production role within a very capable and strong business that is keen to invest and train, wed love to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
