Multi-Drop Van driver

Van DriverLeicester (Beaumont Leys)BE Recruitment are currently working with a leading home products retailer based in the Beaumont Leys area of Leicester. We are looking to recruit experienced Van Drivers to join their growing team on an ongoing basis.This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company with the potential for long-term work for the right candidates.Working as part of a two-person delivery team , you will be responsible for delivering and, where required, installing household appliances into customers' homes. All new drivers supplied by BE Recruitment will initially work alongside an experienced full-time driver to ensure a smooth introduction to the role.The operation is based in Leicester, with deliveries made throughout the Midlands and surrounding areas. The number of deliveries will vary depending on the day's route.Duties include:Monday to FridayStart times between 4:00am and 6:00amDelivering household appliances to residential propertiesProviding excellent customer service at every deliveryUnloading goods at the customer's propertyWorking as part of a two-person crewAssisting with the installation of appliances where required12-14 hour shiftsApproximately 14-20 deliveries per dayRequirements:Minimum of 1 year's van driving experiencePrevious multi-drop delivery experienceFull UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty pointsNo DD, DR, TT or IN10 endorsementsPhysically fit due to the nature of the roleExcellent customer service skills and a professional attitudePay & Benefits:£12.71 per hourOn-site parkingFull training and support providedOpportunity to join a well-established businessWeekly payHoliday entitlement equivalent to 28 days per yearIf you have not heard from us within two weeks of submitting your application, please assume that, on this occasion, your application has been unsuccessful.
