Ocean Export Coordinator
Job Description

\nThe Ocean Export Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, routing, rating, monitoring of international shipments (ocean export) from pick-up through to delivery.
\nEssential Job Funcations:
\n- \n
- Deals directly with clients, customs and agents to ensure the quickest and best movement of cargo throughout the world. \n
- Prepares documents necessary to complete export, and customs clearance process. \n
- Track and trace cargo as necessary to insure proper movement and delivery. \n
- Proper and correct billing and cost information populated in the global transport management system for accurate invoicing and job costing. \n
- Communicate with customers regarding disposition of Freight (i.e., tracking & tracing, routing & dispatching, and rate quotations). \n
- Communicate & correspond with other Company branches and agents for customer satisfaction and ensure excellent service execution. \n
- Seek the most profitable mode of shipment yet meet customer’s requirement for the movement of freight. \n
- Daily KPI adherence. \n

- Talking, hearing and using hands to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and other computer components \n

- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. \n

- Strong oral and written communication skills. \n
- Must have excellent client service skills, responding promptly and professionally to client needs and requests for service and assistance. \n
- English language knowledge (oral/written) - level B1 minimum \n
- Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine correspondence. \n
- Must be detail oriented with good organizational skills. \n
- Strong computer skills. \n
Experience and Education required:
\n- \n
- 3 years’ experience in Ocean freight export \n
- Confident in closing, innovative, energetic, motivated and flexible. \n
- Strong communication and customer service skills. \n
- Fluent level of English, both written and spoken \n
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office. \n
Certifications and Licenses required:
\n- \n
- Professional certification may be required in some areas. \n
