Solutions Architect , Commerce Media
Job Description
NAVIGATOR
\nAI-native travel commerce media network
\nSolutions Architect, Commerce Media
\nReports to: CEO & Founder
\nLocation: London (hybrid)
\nType: Full-time
\nTHE ROLE
\nNavigator is building the definitive travel commerce media network - aggregating first-party travel intent data from airline, OTA, and metasearch partners, and activating it programmatically across a growing publisher and advertiser ecosystem. We are Series A-backed, scaling aggressively, and moving toward Series B.
\nWe're looking for a senior individual-contributor engineer to own the deep technical build of Navigator's commerce media infrastructure: the clean room, identity resolution layer, agentic bot stack, and the systems that connect our data to activation and measurement. This is a hands-on architecture and build role, not a management position - you'll set technical direction and do the work yourself, reporting directly to the CEO.
\nThis role works closely with the Director of Commerce Media Partnerships & Infrastructure, who owns vendor relationships, contracting, and the commercial side of the stack. You own the engineering: the systems get built, integrated, and kept running by you.
\nWHAT YOU'LL OWN
\nClean Room & Identity Infrastructure
\n- \n
- Own and evolve Navigator's GCP-hosted clean room - architecture, data pipelines, and performance. \n
- Build and maintain the identity resolution layer that matches hashed emails and other identifiers across our data partner network into a unified, addressable identity graph. \n
- Manage technical integration of identity partners across our resolution waterfall (Live Ramp, Experian, ID5, On Audience, and emerging regional partners), including match-rate testing and partner evaluation for underserved regions such as APAC. \n
- Work toward Navigator's long-term identity graph vision - a proprietary, travel-specific identity layer built on aggregated first-party signals. \n
- Ensure all identity and clean room infrastructure meets privacy, security, and data governance standards. \n
Agentic Bot Stack
\n- \n
- Own the architecture, reliability, and expansion of Navigator's agentic infrastructure - SyncBot, ProvisionBot, MarginBot, and PacingBot - running on Claude via MCP. \n
- Build new agentic capability as Navigator extends automation deeper into campaign operations, partner onboarding, and margin management. \n
- Ensure the bot stack integrates cleanly with the clean room, the identity layer, and downstream activation systems. \n
DSP, SSP & Activation Integration
\n- \n
- Own the technical integration of Navigator's activation stack - DV360, StackAdapt, and Index Exchange - ensuring reliable, well-instrumented pipelines from audience to activation. \n
- Build and maintain the technical connective tissue between Navigator's data layer and each platform's API, including audience syncs, bidding signals, and reporting feeds. \n
- Partner with the Director of Commerce Media Partnerships & Infrastructure on new vendor integrations - they own the commercial relationship and contract; you own the technical implementation and its reliability. \n
Data Infrastructure & Measurement
\n- \n
- Build the technical foundation for closed-loop attribution and incrementality measurement across clean-room partnerships. \n
- Ensure first-party intent signals from data partners are structured, unified, and ready for activation at scale (3bn+ signals and growing). \n
- Define engineering standards for data quality, pipeline monitoring, and system reliability across the stack. \n
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
\n- \n
- Deep hands-on experience building data infrastructure, identity resolution, or clean room systems - ideally in adtech, martech, or a comparable data-intensive environment. \n
- Strong experience with GCP (BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run or equivalent) or a comparable cloud data stack. \n
- Comfort working with DSP/SSP integrations and programmatic ecosystems is a strong plus, though not a strict requirement. \n
- Experience with or strong interest in agentic/LLM-based automation - you'll be extending a live agentic bot stack, not just reading about one. \n
- A track record of owning systems end-to-end as a senior individual contributor - architecture through to production reliability - without a team around you. \n
- Comfortable operating in a small, fast-moving company where you'll build, ship, and support your own systems. \n
WHAT NAVIGATOR OFFERS
\n- \n
- A rare opportunity to architect a commerce media technology stack from the ground up, with commercial traction and partnerships already in place. \n
- Direct access to and reporting line with the CEO & Founder - your work will be highly visible at the most senior level of the business. \n
- A genuinely agentic, AI-native engineering environment - not a legacy stack retrofitted with AI features. \n
- The scope to shape technical direction as Navigator scales through Series B and beyond. \n
