As our new Fire Safety Manager in the Building Safety Team, youll play a vital role in keeping our customers and homes safebringing clarity, structure and action to one of the most important parts of what we do.\n
What youll do\n
\n Lead fire safety inspections, manage contractors and review assessment quality\n
\n Spot trends and risks early, taking action before they escalate\n
\n Guide remedial work and post-checks to make sure everythings resolved properly\n
\n Prepare for audits and respond confidently when things go wrong\n
\n Train and support colleagues to understand their fire safety responsibilities\n
\n Contribute to safety case reports and golden thread data to support wider compliance\n

You have\n
\n Strong experience in fire risk assessment and inspection programmes\n
\n Level 4 Diploma in Fire Risk Assessment or NEBOSH Fire Certificate (or similar)\n
\n Skilled at managing contractors and challenging poor performance\n
\n Good working knowledge of the Fire Safety Order and Building Safety Act\n
\n Comfortable leading audits, investigations and regulatory reporting\n
\n A calm, confident communicator who supports others to build a safer culture\n

The practical bits\n
\n Youll work Monday to Friday with visits to sites in the South but mainly in Greater London\n
\n You will at times need to flex your working hours to meet with customers when it works best for them, so you may have occasional evening working.\n
\n This is a hybrid role and youll spend some days each week out and about or in our offices, and the rest working from home.\n
\n To get from A to B, youll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that well pay your car allowance of £334.62 per month!\n
\n You need a basic DBS check done which we pay for.\n
