\nLocation: London, the South East and the East of England
Salary: £33,000 - £36,000 per annum plus £3,500 area allowance
Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, 8.30am5pm
Contract Type: Permanent
Our client, a leading provider of housing solutions, is seeking a Property Procurement & Acquisition Officer to cover London, the South East and the East of England.
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone with relevant property experience to play a key role in sourcing and securing suitable accommodation for communities.
\nJob Objective
\nThe Property Procurement & Acquisition Officer will manage a caseload, travel to meet stakeholders and contribute to property procurement and acquisition targets by sourcing suitable properties and developing strong relationships with landlords, agents and other accommodation partners.
\nThe role will also involve procurement administration, meeting performance objectives and supporting wider property development and planning.
\nWe are seeking a candidate with relevant property experience, ideally gained within property sales, estate agency, residential property management or a similar environment.
\nDuties and Responsibilities

- Source and secure suitable residential properties through engagement with landlords, agents and accommodation partners, ensuring properties meet required standards. \n
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, landlords and key stakeholders to identify new opportunities. \n
- Work with senior management to optimise the property portfolio and maximise bed space utilisation. \n
- Monitor performance, KPIs, compliance and audit requirements to ensure company and regulatory standards are met. \n
- Ensure property handovers, administration and regulatory processes are completed accurately and efficiently. \n
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and promote best practice across the property supply chain. \n
Required Skills
\n- \n
- Relevant experience within the property sector, ideally in property sales, estate agency, residential property management or a similar environment. \n
- Experience sourcing and securing residential properties. \n
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills. \n
- Confident communicating with landlords, agents, local authorities and other stakeholders. \n
- Good understanding of property legislation, contractual requirements and compliance. \n
- Ability to manage a caseload and work towards agreed targets and KPIs. \n
- Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail. \n
- Proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently. \n
- A positive approach to continuous improvement and best practice. \n
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle. \n
