The Clinical Supervisor (BCBA) plays a crucial role in providing clinical expertise, leadership, feedback, and guidance to ensure the success of each assigned client case.

In your role, you will ensure that:
  • Client families receive consistently high-quality clinical services, experience meaningful progress, and are satisfied with our organization’s offerings. You will deliver direct services, conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), oversee assigned client cases, and provide consultation or coverage for cases managed by other Clinical Supervisors (BCBA).
  • Your clinical team benefits from high-quality professional development and achieves success in their roles, tailored to their experience and growth stage. You will offer oversight, constructive feedback, mentoring, and encouragement to cultivate skilled Program Managers and Interventionists, maximizing their effectiveness.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a minimum of 5 billable hours per workday (25 hours per week/110 hours per month).
  • Supervise your Program Manager team to ensure they achieve a minimum of 28 billable hours per week (120 hours per month).
  • Provide high-quality clinical supervision in line with BACB standards to ensure treatment integrity and quality assurance across clients, settings, and funding sources, including direct observation and necessary protocol adjustments.
  • Conduct developmental skills assessments, such as ABLLS-R, AFLS, and/or VB-MAPP, to create and evaluate individualized treatment recommendations and objectives.
  • Oversee and document the progress of RBTs, BCaBAs, and BCBA candidates in accordance with BACB standards.
  • Perform Functional Behavioral Assessments, including Functional Analyses, to develop function-based treatment plans.
  • Provide precise skill assessments and direct feedback through Performance Management metrics to other clinical team members (e.g., Behavior Interventionists and Program Supervisors/Managers).
  • Deliver training as needed to teachers, technicians, parents, and others using Behavior Skills Training (BST): discussion, modeling, practice, and feedback.
  • Attend Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and/or interdisciplinary team meetings when applicable, presenting proposed goals, objectives, behavioral interventions, and potential modifications/adaptations.
  • Collaborate with school personnel by conducting student observations, providing written programming and behavioral recommendations, implementing necessary training, and offering regular follow-up support as authorized.
Required Skills:
  • Strong skills in ABA and clinical practices
  • Self-motivated: Capable of consistently scheduling and attending client appointments and clinical team meetings
  • Excellent written and verbal communication: Clear language, proper grammar, and spelling
  • Effective time management: Ability to balance billable and non-billable hours, both onsite and in-office
  • Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues, fostering connections between the clinical team and client families
  • Team-oriented attitude and customer service focus: Committed to serving client families and colleagues, regardless of their position
