Job Opportunity: Orthopaedic Surgeon

Our organization is actively looking for a board-certified or board-eligible Orthopaedic Surgeon to become a part of our exceptional team of collaborative physicians in the Rockford, Illinois area!

• Supportive Staff: Our Orthopaedic Surgical Nurse Navigators enhance the team’s efforts to ensure patients are well-prepared for surgery, leading to high-quality post-operative results.
• Team Collaboration: The nursing team in the Ambulatory Care Unit and the Physical Rehabilitation Team work closely with the surgeon to facilitate same-day discharges after total joint surgeries when suitable.
• Facility Location: The practice is situated within the FHN Family Healthcare Center - Burchard Hills, a multi-specialty clinic located just one mile from our network’s 100-bed hospital.
• Work Schedule: Enjoy a 4-day work week focused on direct patient care, with call responsibilities.
• Call Coverage: Call duties are shared at a ratio of 1:3.
• Referral Sources: Access to extensive multi-subspecialty referral sources on-site.
• New Graduates: We welcome applications from recent graduates!

Qualifications:

• MD/DO, Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Completed residency training from an ACGME-accredited program.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• A genuine passion for improving patient lives.
• Proficient in delivering exceptional patient care.

Compensation & Benefits:

We provide a highly competitive initial salary guarantee, aligned with MGMA guidelines, transitioning to a production-based model after the first year. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:

• Salary range of $750k-$900k.
