CompensationPay Range: $45.90 - $51.20 per hour, determined by prior experience.

- A minimum of a master’s degree in Speech Pathology, along with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or at least one year of experience working with adults and children with neurological disorders affecting language comprehension, expression, cognition, articulation, voice, fluency, and swallowing.
- Ability to work independently within the department.
- A valid Speech Pathology license in the state (where applicable) or actively gaining the supervisory experience necessary for licensure.
- Registration with the Department of Health or eligibility for registration.
- Membership in the Speech Language Hearing Association is recommended.
- Interest in geriatric rehabilitation is preferred.
The Speech Therapist will deliver ongoing therapy to clients as per physician directives. Responsibilities include:
- Evaluating clients and developing effective treatment plans based on physician requests, securing approval for services from the referring physician.
- Initiating prescribed treatments and updating the physician on client progress.
- Maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with state, federal, and third-party payer regulations.
- Adhering to the Speech Language Pathology Practice Act in the state.
- Performing additional duties or special assignments as directed by the Director of Clinical Services.

ExperiencePreferred: 1 year of experience working with adults and children with neurological disorders affecting language comprehension, expression, cognition, articulation, voice, fluency, and swallowing.
EducationRequired: Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
Licenses & CertificationsRequired: Valid Speech Therapist license.
