Compensation: Daily gross pay ranging from $910.00 to $1,120.00

Key Responsibilities

The Operating Room Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of surgical procedures by:

• Preparing sterile supplies and instruments for each assigned surgery
• Maintaining a sterile environment throughout the procedure
• Providing the surgeon with necessary sterile supplies and instruments during operations

Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Training:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent, or relevant experience is required for new hires as of April 2014
• Completion of an Operating Room Technician training program or equivalent on-the-job training, with a minimum of 3 years of experience (preferably in a surgical setting)
• Experience in scrubbing for both minor and major procedures across general surgical specialties (e.g., GYN, General, and Plastics)
• Experience in scrubbing at least minor procedures in specialized surgical areas (e.g., orthopedic, neurosurgery, ENT, urology, etc.)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA upon hire, with maintenance of certification required
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as an Operating Room Technician is mandatory

Compensation Transparency

Our organization offers competitive pay, with an estimated compensation range for this role between $65.00 and $80.00. This estimate is specific to New Jersey and may vary based on geographic location. The final compensation will be determined during the hiring process, taking into account various factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
