Job Overview:

As a Nurse, you will collaborate within a dynamic interdisciplinary team, emphasizing a patient-centered care approach in a diverse work environment. Under the guidance of the Nurse Manager, the registered nurse will apply evidence-based practices in line with the State Nurse Practice Act, hospital policies, and directives from the medical staff. Utilizing your expertise, you will implement the nursing process to create a care plan that addresses the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered care.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Familiarity with the nursing process and customer service principles is essential. National certification in a specialty area is preferred. Experience in an acute care hospital setting is advantageous. IV skills and proficiency in a secondary language are also preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current certification in BLS is required, or completion within the first three months of employment. ACLS certification is mandatory for Emergency Department, Critical Care Unit, and designated staff in ACU/PACU and Endoscopy. ACLS is highly recommended for cross-trained staff in these areas. NNR certification is required for Obstetrics.
  • Education: Must hold a current CT RN license and be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
