Locum Tenens PA - Psychiatry Position in SD

While your dedicated recruiter will serve as your primary contact, they are supported by numerous specialized teams. This structure allows them to concentrate on the aspects that are most important to you. • Shifts: Primarily night shifts from 6 PM to 6 AM; available 24/7, year-round.
• Schedule: Potential for a 5 on / 5 off rotation.
• Patient Volume: Manage between 7 to over 20 patients per shift, with fluctuations in volume.
• Setting: Behavioral health urgent care center.
• Patient Demographics: Treating individuals from ages 3 to elderly.

• Conduct medical clearances, ECT histories and physicals, and respond to medical emergencies.
• Collaborate with on-call psychiatrists regarding admission decisions.
• Oversee a 23-hour observation area with a capacity of up to 5 patients.
