Position: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Schedule: Full Time

Sign-On Bonus: $8,000

Location: Brevard, NC

Responsibilities
  • Assist in implementing the occupational therapy care plan and treatment as prescribed by the evaluating therapist and physician, in accordance with State Practice Acts.
  • Carry out clinical tasks while ensuring timely and accurate communication and documentation.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures relevant to the scope of practice.
  • Identify and respond to priorities in patient care effectively.
  • Successfully complete all required orientation, in-services, and training sessions.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Licensure, Certification, and Educational Requirements
  • Possess a valid professional license in the state of practice.
  • Graduate from an ACOTE accredited program and eligible to take or has passed the NBCOT exam. Foreign-trained candidates must meet the same qualifications as U.S. educational program standards.
