Senior Site Engineer / Engineering Surveyor
Banbury - HS2
£45,000 - £55,000 plus car allowance and accommodation allowance
MGR Recruitment are representing a leading civil engineering contractor on their prestigious heavy civils project in Banbury, forming an integral part of HS2. The scheme covers earthworks, roadworks, viaducts and bridges.
\nThis is a genuinely long-term opportunity on one of the country's flagship infrastructure programmes, with work secured until at least 2030. It is also a Monday to Friday role with no weekend working, which is rare on a project of this scale.
\nThe Role
\n Reporting into the site engineering team, you will be responsible for:

- Setting out across earthworks, structures and roadworks \n
- GNSS surveys \n
- Establishing and maintaining survey control \n
- Checking the setting out and coordinates of other surveyors on site \n
- Producing as-built records and supporting the wider engineering team \n
What We're Looking For
\n- \n
- A valid CSCS card - this is mandatory \n
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer, Setting Out Engineer or Engineering Surveyor \n
- A minimum of 2 years on heavy civil engineering projects in the UK \n
- Confident with total stations and GNSS equipment \n
- Comfortable working to tight tolerances on a busy live site \n
