(We cannot sponsor or support VISA applicants).About the Role :We are recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer for an automated warehouse based in Northampton. You will be response for the day-to-day maintenance of the fast flowing material handling equipment as well as:Delivery of key service elements such as planned preventative maintenance, fault rectification and fault eradicationEnsure all aspects of their working day are logged as per the agreed methodFully interact with the customer in day-to-day activitiesIdentify and resolve issues with the materials handling equipment, including identification of root causes, working proactively with the customer operations teamIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement and submit proposalsEffectively communicate throughout the SSI team and with the customerRequirements :ONC/HNC/BTEC or equivalent in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical or PLC EngineeringRecognised cross training from Mechanical to Electrical Engineering of vice versaPLC knowledge and experience is advantageous.Health and Safety Qualifications desirableExperience of automated materials handling equipmentAbility to work at height.Highly proficient verbal and written communication skills desirable.Good team working skills.About Us:Wills Consultants is an independent recruitment consultancy specialising in engineering, finance and office professionals.
