Job Title: Class 2 Driver - Skip Driver

Experience:6 months class 2 experience - essential\n
Contract: Temp to Perm (12 weeks)\n
\nFifth Wheel Recruitment are looking for Class 2 Drivers in Hatfield to work with our client, whoprovide all types of business with commercial waste disposal and recycling.\n
\nPrevious experience working in the waste industry would be beneficial.\n

Competitive Salary: £19.05- £28.58 p/h\n
\nBasic: £17.00 + £2.05 holiday pay = £19.05 per hour\n
\nOvertime: £25.50 + £3.08 holiday pay = £28.58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities: \n

\n
• Driving and operating a Class 2 skip vehicle
\n
• Delivering and collecting skips from customer sites
\n
• Transporting waste safely to disposal facilities
\n
• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
\n
• Completing all required paperwork accurately
\n
• Providing professional customer service
\n
• Following drivers hours and tachograph regulations
\n
• Complying with health and safety and environmental procedures
\n

All applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following site safety procedures.\n
About you: \n
\nYou will have your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 6 months experience driving commercially. You must have experience on the skips.You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.\n
\nYou will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.\n
