Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £28,000 - £39,520 per annum

Your Role and Responsibilities\n

As a SEN Class Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the National Curriculum while addressing the complex SEMH needs of our pupils.
  • \n
  • Support the class team in creating learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.
  • \n
  • Monitor and report on pupils' progress, collaborating with staff to ensure all needs are met.
  • \n
  • Supervise pupils during non-classroom activities, including extracurricular events and school trips.
  • \n
  • Build strong, positive relationships with pupils to encourage interaction and enhance learning outcomes.
  • \n
What We’re Looking For\n

To thrive in this role, you should:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • \n
  • Have a strong educational background at degree level.
  • \n
  • Bring previous successful teaching experience.
  • \n
  • Have experience working with pupils with SEMH needs in an educational setting.
  • \n
  • Utilize effective behavior management techniques.
  • \n
  • Be committed to your professional development and eager to learn.
  • \n
