A great opportunity to work as a Machine Minder at our client's site, a top UK and European food company, producing own-label and branded fresh chicken, pork and lamb, as well as authentic chilled and frozen ready meals, snacking ranges, added value and food service productsStaffline are recruiting for Machine Minder in Ashbourne.The hours of work are 10pm to 6am.The rate of pay is £16.30 to £16.95 per hour.Your Time at WorkDuring your time as a Machine Minder you will:- Monitor and assess the production process of primary poultry products within required product and customer specifications and to tight deadlines.- Work as a member of a team of operatives (varying in size) reporting to the Operations Team Lead.- Be responsible for the set-up and effective operation of process machinery in order to achieve production targets and quality standardsOur Perfect WorkerOur perfect candidate will:- Good level of English- Strong mechanical skills- Interest in maintenance and machinery- Flexible, reliable and willing to learn- Positive attitude and good team player- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment (FMCG experience desirable)- Comfortable working in a lairage environment involving live birds- Ideally have FLT (Fork Lift Truck) experience- Confident completing paperwork, records and pre-start checks accurately- Willing to develop knowledge and understanding of animal welfare and site proceduresKey Information and Benefits- Earn £16.30 to £16.95 per hour- Temp to perm opportunity- OnSite support from Staffline- Canteen on site- Free car parking on site- Good links to public transport- PPE provided- Uniform provided- Full training provided- Opportunities for overtimeJob Ref: 1PASHAbout StafflineStaffline is the UK's largest recruitment solutions partner, enabling over 35,000 people into good work every week.
