ISP School is an independent specialist provision dedicated to serving children and young people in Kent and Medway. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality education through a holistic and tailored approach, ensuring that every pupil receives the support they need to thrive.

Your Role\n

As a Part-Time Administrator, you will play a crucial role in promoting the safeguarding and welfare of our pupils and visitors. Your responsibilities will include:

• Communicating effectively with ISP staff, professionals, parents, and carers.
\n
• Managing school correspondence, emails, and phone calls.
\n
• Receiving and hosting visitors, maintenance staff, and contractors.
\n
• Arranging and attending meetings, taking minutes as required.
\n
• Managing delegated budgets and petty cash for the Whitstable site.
\n
• Maintaining school documents using SIMS & BehaviourWatch.
\n
• Supporting the school's mission through various associated duties as directed by the Headteacher.
\n

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills and a systematic approach to workload management.
\n
• Experience in developing systems and processes.
\n
• A solid understanding of SIMS.
\n
• Ability to work within allocated budgets and monitor expenditures.
\n
• Full knowledge of relevant policies and legislation.
\n
• A collaborative spirit and the ability to relate well to children and adults.
\n
• Confidence in working under pressure and on your own initiative.
\n

Working Conditions\n

This is a part-time position, offering 25 hours per week during term time only, from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm. As our school grows, there is potential for this role to evolve into a full-time position.
