With a competitive salary ranging from £28,000 to £39,520, this full-time role offers you the chance to inspire and empower students aged 5 to 18 with complex needs.

Your Role and Responsibilities\n

As a SEN Class Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum, catering to the complex SEMH needs of all pupils.
  • \n
  • Support the class team in facilitating engaging learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.
  • \n
  • Monitor and report on pupils' progress, collaborating with other staff to ensure every child's needs are met.
  • \n
  • Supervise pupils during non-classroom activities, including extracurricular events and school trips.
  • \n
  • Build positive relationships with your pupils, driving interaction and fostering positive learning outcomes.
  • \n
What We’re Looking For\n

To thrive in this role, you should:

  • Hold qualified teacher status (QTS).
  • \n
  • Possess a strong educational background at degree level.
  • \n
  • Have previous successful teaching experience.
  • \n
  • Bring experience working with pupils with SEMH in an educational setting.
  • \n
  • Be skilled in behavior management techniques.
  • \n
  • Be committed to your professional development and eager to learn.
  • \n
  • Be willing to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to starting work.
