About the School\n

Located on the outskirts of Maidenhead, our school is designed to accommodate up to 100 pupils aged 5 to 18 with a variety of complex needs. We are looking for a compassionate and visionary leader who is ready to shape the future of our school. Your role will be crucial in building a new team and enhancing the educational experience for our students.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Educational Leadership: Develop and implement a vision that aligns with our ethos of compassion, inclusion, and personalized learning. Ensure compliance with Independent School Standards and the Education Inspection Framework.
\n
• Safeguarding: Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, managing and reporting concerns while fostering a robust safeguarding culture.
\n
• Curriculum Enhancement: Tailor the curriculum to meet the diverse needs of our students, ensuring an engaging learning journey.
\n
• Pastoral Care and SEN Advocacy: Champion emotional well-being and advocate for the rights of our SEN students, aligning with EHCP objectives.
\n
• Staff Development: Mentor and support staff, promoting continuous professional growth and a collaborative team spirit.
\n
• Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external partners to create a cohesive support network.
\n

Qualifications and Experience\n

\n
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with Primary/Secondary teaching experience.
\n
• Relevant degree and/or NPQH (not essential).
\n
• Experience working with SEN students and a deep understanding of their unique requirements.
\n
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others, along with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
\n
