MIG Welder

JDR Recruitment are recruiting for MIG Welders for a large engineering company based in DarwenKey ResponsibilitiesRead, understand, and interpret engineering drawings.MIG weld fabricated components to specification.Accurately record job bookings and production data.Complete operations within allocated production times.Carry out visual inspections of welded components.Undertake first-off inspections where required.Support continuous improvement activities.Undertake welder coding tests when required.Follow all health and safety procedures.Skills & Experience RequiredStrong MIG welding experience.Fabrication experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.Relevant NVQ qualification or equivalent preferred.Ability to work accurately to production deadlines.Personal AttributesSelf-motivated and reliable.Enthusiastic with a positive attitude.Good attention to detail.Able to follow instructions precisely.Good basic maths and English skills.Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm & Friday 8am - 2pm£17.37 per hourOngoing workJDR is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all backgrounds.JDRNorthWestWe are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds.
