Branch Manager Credit Car HireLocation: Buckhurst Hill, Essex (IG9)Salary: £35-40,000 (Dep on experience) + Company Car + Bonus/BenefitsJob Type: Full-time, Permanent Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pmThe Opportunity for Branch ManagerWe are recruiting an experienced Branch Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day operation and performance of a busy Credit Car Hire branch, specialising in Executive and Fleet Hire, including PCO hire Hhh and vehicles for the Film/Television industry.This is an excellent opportunity for an established manager from the car rental, vehicle hire, accident replacement or credit hire sector who is confident managing people, vehicles, customers and operational performance.Previous credit hire experience would be advantageous but is not essential. We are particularly interested in candidates who have successfully managed a car rental or vehicle hire branch and are looking for their next career move.The RoleAs Branch Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the smooth and profitable operation of the branch, ensuring excellent customer service while maintaining strong operational controls and achieving commercial targets.Key responsibilities will include:Leading, managing and motivating the branch teamManaging the day-to-day operation of the vehicle hire branchMonitoring fleet utilisation and ensuring vehicles are available, prepared and allocated efficientlyManaging customer bookings, vehicle movements, collections and deliveriesManaging escalated customer queries and resolving issues effectivelyMonitoring branch KPIs, productivity and operational performanceDriving revenue growth and identifying opportunities to improve branch performanceManaging costs and supporting branch profitabilityEnsuring accurate administration and documentation, particularly billings/invoicesMaintaining high standards of vehicle presentation and branch organisationEnsuring compliance with company procedures, health & safety requirements and relevant industry standardsCreating a positive, accountable and performance-focused working environmentAbout YouWe are looking for a commercially driven, experienced operational manager who understands the demands of running a fast-paced vehicle hire business.You will ideally have:Previous management experience within car rental, vehicle hire, accident replacement, credit hire or a similar automotive environment (ideally with B2B experience)Experience managing a branch, depot or comparable operational functionStrong people management and team leadership skillsGood commercial awareness and understanding of branch performanceExperience working with operational KPIs and targetsStrong logistical planning, with an understanding of fleet utilisation & vehicle availabilityExcellent customer service and problem-solving skillsThe ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environmentConfidence dealing with customers, suppliers and business partnersA proactive and hands-on management styleA full UK driving licenceIf you are an experienced Branch Manager, Rental Manager, Depot Manager, Station Manager, Vehicle Hire Manager or Operations Manager looking for your next opportunity, we would like to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
