\nOutline of role
\nWe are seeking an experienced Qualifying Supervisor to support the delivery, testing, commissioning and close-out of electrical installations across multiple projects. Acting as the key point of contact for electrical compliance, testing and defect management, you will work closely with Project Managers, contractors and site teams to ensure works are completed safely, to the highest quality standards, and in accordance with current NICEIC and BS7671 requirements.
\nMain responsibilities
\nAct as the lead contact for electrical testing and compliance across live projects and those within the defects liability period.
\nOversee the completion of electrical testing, commissioning, certification and project handovers.
\nManage and maintain electrical testing, calibration and PAT testing records and trackers.
\nMonitor project progress and ensure test certificates are issued within required timescales.
\nCarry out regular site visits to assess installation quality, testing programmes and commissioning activities.
\nSupport Project Managers with quality assurance inspections and compliance requirements.
\nManage and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers undertaking testing, maintenance and defect rectification works.
\nEnsure all defect works are completed safely and are supported by approved risk assessments and method statements.
\nMaintain weekly defect tracking schedules and provide regular progress updates to management teams.
\nAttend meetings with project teams, contractors and clients to resolve issues and support successful project delivery.
\nPromote compliance with company Health & Safety, Quality Assurance and Environmental policies.
\nBuild and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, customers and external stakeholders.
\nKnowledge and experience required
\nPrevious experience in a Qualifying Supervisor, Approved Electrician, Testing & Inspection or similar electrical compliance role.
\nStrong understanding of electrical installation, testing, commissioning and defect management processes.
\nExperience working on commercial construction or building services projects.
\nKnowledge of NICEIC requirements and current electrical regulations.
\nExperience managing multiple projects and working with subcontractors and site teams.
\nGood understanding of Health & Safety legislation and safe working practices.
\nExperience maintaining project documentation, trackers and compliance records.
\nSkills required

\nAbility to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
\nCompetent in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

\nAble to prioritise workload and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
\nQualifications
\n18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
\nCity & Guilds 2394 & 2395 / 2391 Testing & Inspection
\nNVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation, City & Guilds 2360 Part 1 & 2, or equivalent
\nECS/CSCS Gold Card
