We are excited to invite a dedicated Children's Home Registered Manager to lead our brand new 4-bed home in Doncaster.

About the Role\n

As the Registered Manager, you will be the heart of our home, responsible for ensuring that we provide a high-quality level of care. Your leadership will help foster positive relationships with young people and support their transitions into adulthood.

Main Responsibilities\n

  • Service and Practice: Develop and deliver high-quality care in line with relevant legislation and organizational policies.
  • \n
  • Human Resource Management: Recruit, supervise, and appraise staff while ensuring continuous professional development.
  • \n
  • Management of Resources: Monitor the service budget and ensure the maintenance of premises and equipment.
  • \n
  • External Affairs: Promote our organization positively with external agencies and contribute to leadership forums.
  • \n

  • Enthusiasm for providing the highest quality care and education.

  • Experience in managing a team effectively.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures.

Working Conditions\n

This is a full-time, permanent position requiring 39 hours per week, including sleep-in duties as per the home’s rota. Some office days will be necessary for administrative tasks.

Compensation and Benefits\n

  • Salary: Up to £64,280 (includes Ofsted and occupancy bonuses).
  • \n
  • Annual Leave: 25 days plus 8 statutory holidays.
  • \n
  • Bonuses: £3,000 for an Outstanding Ofsted Report and £600 monthly for full occupancy.
  • \n
  • On-Call Payments: £25 on weekdays and £35 on weekends.
  • \n
  • Pension: In line with the organizational pension scheme and government guidance.
  • \n
  • Petrol Allowance: Paid when using your own car (proof of business insurance required).
