Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £28,000 - £39,520 per annum

Your Role\n

As a SEN Class Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our pupils. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, tailored to meet the complex SEMH needs of all pupils.
  • \n
  • Supporting the class team in creating engaging learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.
  • \n
  • Monitoring and reporting on pupils' progress, collaborating with staff to ensure every child's needs are met.
  • \n
  • Supervising pupils during non-classroom activities, including extracurricular events and school trips.
  • \n
  • Building strong, positive relationships with pupils to encourage interaction and foster a love for learning.
  • \n
What We’re Looking For\n

To thrive in this role, you should:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • \n
  • Possess a strong educational background at degree level.
  • \n
  • Have previous successful teaching experience, particularly with pupils with SEMH needs.
  • \n
  • Be skilled in effective behavior management techniques.
  • \n
  • Be committed to your professional development and eager to learn.
  • \n
