Located in the heart of Wigan, Lancashire, Martha H School is on the lookout for a talented SEN Teacher to join our vibrant community!
About the Role\nThis is a full-time, term-time only position, offering a competitive salary ranging from £28,000 to £39,520 depending on your experience. You will work 37.5 hours per week and play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of our pupils.
Your Responsibilities\n- \n
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, catering to the complex ASC & SEMH needs of all pupils. \n
- Support the class team in facilitating engaging learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviours. \n
- Monitor and report on pupils' progress, collaborating with other staff to ensure their needs are met. \n
- Supervise pupils during non-classroom time, including extracurricular activities and school trips. \n
- Build positive relationships with pupils to drive interaction and foster positive learning outcomes. \n

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a suitable degree-level qualification. \n
- Previous successful teaching experience, particularly with pupils with SEND. \n
- Experience in behaviour management and effective techniques. \n
- A commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn. \n
