Job Description - SC Cleared Electrician
\n Location: RAF St Mawgan, Cornwall
\n Contract: Initial 3-6 months with the potential for ongoing work until 2029
\n About the Role
\n We are looking for experienced SC Cleared Electricians to join a major commercial and industrial electrical installation project at RAF St Mawgan.
\n This is an excellent opportunity to work on a long-term, high-profile project with the potential for continued work based on performance and project requirements.
\n Key Responsibilities
\n You will be responsible for carrying out high-quality commercial and industrial electrical installations, including:
\n - Installation of steel trunking, cable trays and ladder systems
\n - Conduit installation
\n - Electrical containment systems
\n - Installation of LV distribution equipment
\n - Pulling, glanding and terminating singles and SWA cabling
\n - Electrical testing and fault finding where required
\n - Working safely in accordance with site procedures and health & safety regulations
\n Applicants must have:
\n - Current SC (Security Check) Clearance - Mandatory
\n - Valid ECS Gold Card or ECS Black Card
\n - Proven experience in commercial and industrial electrical installations
\n - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
\n - Strong commitment to quality and safe working practices
\n Pay & Working Hours
\n £24.50 per hour
\n Approximately 50 hours per week
\n Standard working hours: 07:30 - 17:30 (Monday to Friday)
\n Weekend work, when available, paid x 1.5
\n Overtime is subject to project requirements and site opening hours
\n Contract Details
\n Initial contract of 3-6 months
\n Opportunity for further work on a project scheduled to continue until 2029
\n Immediate starts available for suitably qualified and SC Cleared candidates
