Driver Hire Northampton & Kettering are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver on behalf of a well-established building supplies company based in Brackmills, Northampton.

\n

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional and reliable driver seeking ongoing Monday to Friday work with a respected business delivering products to construction sites and merchants across the UK.

The Role\n

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your responsibilities will include:

\n

\n
• Delivering building materials and supplies to new build developments and merchant customers
\n
• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects in line with company procedures
\n
• Working to scheduled delivery routes and communicating any delays or issues
\n
• Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and efficiently
\n
• Following all company health and safety policies and procedures
\n
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations
\n

Requirements\n

To be considered for this role, you must have:

\n

? Valid Category C (Class 2) Licence
\n ? Valid CPC Qualification Card
\n ? Valid Digital Tachograph Card
\n ? Minimum 12 months' Class 2 driving experience
\n ? No more than 6 penalty points and no major endorsements

\n

Desirable but not essential:

\n

? Moffett licence
