Manufacturing Leadership

A growing and highly respected manufacturing organization is seeking a Director of Quality & Service to provide strategic leadership across quality operations, customer quality, technical service, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Compensation
  • Base salary: $140,000 - $175,000 DOE

Position Summary

The Director of Quality & Service will lead the organization's Quality and Service functions while ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer expectations, and operational goals.

This leader will be responsible for developing strategy, establishing performance metrics, fostering continuous improvement, and building a high-performing culture focused on quality excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and execute quality and service strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Lead organizational improvement initiatives across multiple departments
  • Establish departmental goals, KPIs, and performance expectations
  • Develop leaders and strengthen succession planning efforts
  • Drive a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement
Quality Leadership
  • Oversee quality systems, compliance programs, audits, and process improvement initiatives
  • Lead efforts to improve quality performance, customer satisfaction, and operational effectiveness
  • Support corrective and preventive action programs
  • Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and company requirements
  • Utilize data and analytics to drive business decisions
Customer & Service Leadership
  • Provide executive oversight for customer quality concerns and technical service activities
  • Strengthen customer relationships through proactive communication and problem resolution
  • Lead cross-functional investigations and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Improve responsiveness, service effectiveness, and customer experience
Operational Excellence
  • Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Partner closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales, and Customer Service teams
  • Build performance dashboards and communicate results to senior leadership
  • Drive sustainable improvements in quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within manufacturing environments
  • Experience leading managers and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong understanding of quality systems, continuous improvement methodologies, and operational excellence
  • Demonstrated success influencing cross-functional and executive-level stakeholders
Preferred
  • MBA or Master's degree
  • Experience within complex, multi-site manufacturing operations
  • Experience leading both quality and customer-facing service organizations
  • Proven track record driving organizational change and strategic initiatives
Pay Details: $140,000.00 to $175,000.00 per year
