Facilities Technician 2

Our client, a leading organization in the facilities management industry, is seeking a Facilities Technician 2 to join their team. As a Facilities Technician 2, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting operational excellence and safety. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Facilities Technician 2

Location: Denver, CO

Pay Range: $33.00

Shift: Days (08:00-16:30)

What's the Job?

• Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on mechanical, electrical, and system issues efficiently.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs to ensure equipment reliability.
• Maintain and repair electrical systems, including wiring, motors, and controls using test equipment.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC/R units, including refrigerant handling and system troubleshooting.
• Perform plumbing repairs, mechanical system maintenance, and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

What's Needed?

• Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnostics of complex mechanical, electrical, and system issues.
• Expertise in preventive maintenance and minor repairs to extend equipment lifespan.
• Knowledge of electrical theory, wiring, motors, controls, and test equipment.
• Skills in maintaining HVAC/R systems, including refrigerant handling (EPA certification preferred).
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
