Location: San Francisco, CA

Compensation: $80-$110 per hour

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire, Hybrid (2-3 days onsite per week), Full-Time

LHH is partnering with a respected law firm in San Francisco to identify a Contract-to-Hire Attorney with experience handling regulatory, environmental, and consumer protection matters. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex litigation and compliance issues involving consumer products, environmental regulations, and advertising practices while collaborating with a sophisticated legal team.

Responsibilities
  • Handle matters involving environmental litigation, and regulatory enforcement.
  • Support litigation related to false advertising, Unfair Competition Law, and Consumer Legal Remedies Act claims.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other case-related documents.
  • Advise clients on regulatory compliance issues affecting consumer products and environmental requirements.
  • Assist with risk assessments, compliance reviews, and response strategies for regulatory inquiries and enforcement actions.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and clients on case strategy, litigation management, and compliance initiatives.
Qualifications
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active California Bar membership in good standing.
  • Experience handling environmental litigation and related consumer product compliance issues.
  • Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
