Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Automotive Technician / Master Technician to join our dealership service department. This position is intended for an established technician who is comfortable handling advanced diagnostics, major repairs, and complex electrical and drivability concerns with minimal supervision.

We want someone who takes pride in diagnosing vehicles correctly, producing quality work, and being the technician other people can rely on when a problem isn't straightforward.

What You'll Do
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
  • Perform advanced engine, transmission, steering, suspension, braking, HVAC, and electrical repairs
  • Interpret scan data, wiring diagrams, service information, and manufacturer diagnostic procedures
  • Perform accurate root-cause diagnosis rather than relying on unnecessary parts replacement
  • Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
  • Properly document diagnostic findings, recommended repairs, and completed work
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and other technicians
  • Assist with difficult diagnostic cases when needed
  • Follow dealership and manufacturer repair procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area
What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional automotive repair experience
  • ASE certification or equivalent manufacturer-level certification/rating
  • Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting ability
  • Ability to work independently on advanced repairs
  • Own professional set of automotive tools appropriate for an experienced technician
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail

Major Plus:

  • Stellantis / Chrysler / Dodge / Jeep / Ram experience
  • Dealership experience
  • Experience with CAN bus/network diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and module-related concerns
  • Familiarity with OEM scan tools and manufacturer service information
Compensation & PTO

This position pays $75,000–$100,000 per year, depending on experience, certifications, skill level, and demonstrated diagnostic ability.

New hires receive 5 days of PTO to start. At the next calendar-year PTO reset, the position receives 10 days of PTO annually going forward.

Who This Position Is For

This is not an entry-level technician position.

We're looking for someone who has already spent years developing their craft and can be trusted with complicated vehicles and difficult diagnoses. The right technician should be comfortable receiving a repair order, gathering the information they need, determining the actual cause of the concern, and completing the repair without needing constant direction.

If you're the technician who gets called over when everyone else has already tried to figure the vehicle out, we want to talk to you.

Salary/Compensation: $75,000 - $100,000 per year
