Clinical Social Worker, MSW, EPS e/o weekend days

Position Overview

Our organization’s esteemed Social Work Emergency Services team addresses social challenges within the Emergency Department and across inpatient services. We are currently looking for a social worker to fill our every other weekend evening role.

Primary Responsibilities

• Delivering clinical social work services to support patients and their families facing personal, familial, medical, and environmental challenges.
• Conducting psychosocial and risk evaluations, diagnosing issues, and formulating as well as executing intervention and treatment strategies.
• Engaging in the planning and execution of discharge and outpatient service strategies, collaborating with healthcare teams and community organizations to ensure effective treatment and service provision.

Essential QualificationsEducation

• Master’s degree in social work.

Experience

• Demonstrated clinical skills and familiarity with various therapeutic approaches.
• Prior experience in medical or hospital social work is preferred.
• Individuals from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in Spanish is advantageous.

Licensure and Certifications

• LCSW certification in Massachusetts is required; LICSW certification is preferred.

Additional Information

New hires will qualify for a $1,000 sign-on bonus!

Note: This position requires availability for every other Saturday and Sunday, with 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range provided reflects our organization’s reasonable expectations at the time of posting.

Base pay offers will be determined based on skills, experience, education, certifications, and other job-related factors. This base salary is part of a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
