Overview and QualificationsThe Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for providing exceptional, patient-focused care while overseeing all unit operations. Collaborating closely with the management team, the CNC assesses and ensures nursing care aligns with established protocols. This role also acts as a vital resource for staff, fostering an outstanding patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a diverse team to coordinate, assess, tailor, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Support the admission and discharge processes.
- Work alongside subject matter experts and leadership to enhance outcomes and service quality.
- Provide coaching, constructive feedback, and training to boost staff performance and engagement.
- Assist in scheduling staff shifts.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be acquired within six months of starting employment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification must be obtained within 90 days of starting employment.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification must be completed within 90 days of starting employment.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
