Overview and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) is responsible for providing exceptional, patient-focused care while overseeing all unit operations. Collaborating closely with the management team, the CNC assesses and ensures nursing care aligns with established protocols. This role also acts as a vital resource for staff, fostering an outstanding patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a diverse team to coordinate, assess, tailor, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Support the admission and discharge processes.
• Work alongside subject matter experts and leadership to enhance outcomes and service quality.
• Provide coaching, constructive feedback, and training to boost staff performance and engagement.
• Assist in scheduling staff shifts.

Required Qualifications:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be acquired within six months of starting employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification must be obtained within 90 days of starting employment.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification must be completed within 90 days of starting employment.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license.
