Job Description
Step into an impactful on-site contract opportunity as a school psychologist, providing essential leave coverage for a district in the Burnsville, MN area. Serving students from August 31, 2026, to November 26, 2026, you’ll work closely with staff and families, ensuring continuity of support and critical services.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure and credentials to practice as a School Psychologist.
- Experience within K-12 educational settings, preferably in school districts.
- Strong skills in assessment, consultation, and collaboration with educational teams.
- Ability to provide comprehensive psychological services, including evaluations and direct support.
- Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
- Ready and able to work exclusively on-site throughout the assignment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver psychological assessments and participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and support intervention strategies.
- Facilitate crisis intervention and provide recommendations for student success.
- Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of all services and evaluations.
- Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs during the leave coverage period.
This is a full-time, 37.5-hour-per-week role with a clear caseload, requiring presence on campus and ensuring students receive uninterrupted services during the psychologist’s leave.
