Job Description We are seeking a PC/Printer Field Break/Fix technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in HP PC and printer field break/fix, hardware diagnostics, and customer-facing service delivery and a proven ability to resolve onsite incidents, manage escalations, and ensure customer satisfaction within contractual and financial guidelines. Responsibilities: Perform onsite break/fix support for HP laptops, desktops, RPOS, workstations, and printers. Configure hardware, software, and simple network components and perform unit installs and repairs. Troubleshoot technical and mechanical issues, including third-party software, networks, and switches as needed. Execute and assist with escalation action plans to remediate PC and print incidents. Educate customers on technology usage and set clear expectations during service events. Prioritize and manage multiple tickets and commitments in a fast-paced environment. Adhere to business, financial, and contractual requirements while supporting profitable service delivery. Complete administrative tasks with accuracy, including documentation and reporting. Required Skills & Qualifications: Technical and mechanical hardware repair experience on PCs and printers. Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with tools and alignment devices. Logical, systematic troubleshooting skills across hardware and basic networks. Clear verbal and written communication with onsite customer-facing experience. Ability to prioritize, plan, and work independently within standard procedures. Understanding of service financials and business impact of field decisions. Physical ability to bend, crawl, stoop, sit, and lift or move up to 50 lbs. Availability for scheduled and unscheduled overtime, holidays, and shift work. High School diploma or equivalent and additional hardware technology training. College preferred. Preferred Skills: HP printer repair knowledge and experience.
