Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician

Position Overview

Our organization is actively searching for a specialist in Maternal-Fetal Medicine who possesses advanced skills in fetal diagnosis and intervention. This role is part of a multidisciplinary, academically focused fetal medicine program.

Key Responsibilities

The primary focus of this position will be on delivering comprehensive Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) care to patients referred for outpatient consultations concerning fetal anomalies. Additional responsibilities will include:

• Inpatient consultations
• Performing fetal procedures
• Managing complex perinatal care

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• Advanced training and proven expertise in fetal ultrasound, prenatal diagnosis, fetal counseling, and intervention
• Strong clinical judgment in obstetrics
• Exceptional teaching and communication abilities
• The capacity to operate within an evidence-based academic setting

Collaboration and Teamwork

This role provides the chance to collaborate closely with a distinguished multidisciplinary team, including:

• Pediatric subspecialists
• Neonatologists
• Surgeons
• Genetic counselors
• Advanced practice providers
• Sonographers
• Trainees

Educational and Professional Requirements

Successful applicants will possess:

• A Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
• Board certification in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
• Eligibility for a medical license in Ohio
• A demonstrated history of leadership and accomplishments in academic medicine
• Evidence of scholarly productivity
