Quick Facts: Location: Stevens Point, WI (900 Illinois Avenue) Start Date: 08/06/2026 Duration: Multiple phases through Dec 2026 Shift: Typically 8 hours for clinic; 24-hour call coverage Hours/week: Variable based on schedule Employment Type: Locum/Per diem Licensure/Certs: ACT 10 required, License/Certifications as per state regulations Experience: Prior OB/GYN work preferred Pay & Benefits: Hourly Rate: $150/hr for orientation; typical rates discussed upon application Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, travel, and certification reimbursements What You’ll Do: Provide OB and GYN clinical care, including routine exams, Pessaries, and annual appointments Review lab results and answer patient inquiries via the electronic health record system (EPIC) Support RN staff and serve as a clinical resource Cover 24-hour call shifts and respond to obstetric emergencies and deliveries (12-20/month) Collaborate with midwives and other healthcare professionals on-site at the hospital and birthing center Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently What You Need: Act 10 certification (acceptable) Licensed medical practitioner in Wisconsin or eligible for licensure Prior OB/GYN experience preferred Ability to coordinate call coverage and clinic responsibilities Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment: This assignment is at a leading facility in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, offering a blend of clinic and hospital-based obstetrics and gynecology services.
