- BLS REQUIRED
- ACLS REQUIRED
- MED/TELE 2+ YEARS OF SPECIALTY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 2+ YEARS OF HOSPITAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first) Experience with the following:
- Meditech Experience Preferred
Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN)
- Active TX RN License Temp license are NOT accepted
- Compact RN License Active
Procedures performed on unit:
- General Med Surg
- Initiate IV
- NG
- Foley
- dressing change
- ADL
Patient Experience Required:
- The RN is responsible for decisions and actions within the domain of nursing practice. Important aspects of this responsibility are the promotion of a safe and therapeutic environment for both the recipients and providers of nursing care; acquisition of specialized knowledge skills and additional formal education to provide specialized care; demonstration and validation of competence in nursing practice; clinical practice consistent with the policies, procedures and standards of this facility; and supervision of other staff as designated within the department.
- Must be competent in all areas: Patience Experience, AIDET, Bed Side Reporting, Hour Rounding and Service Recovery Stept. LEARN
Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.

- RN: Navy Blue w/ Med City Embroidery Proof of Purchase REQUIRED
- Nail Policy Clean and Healthy, no artificial nails, gel, next gen, etc.
- Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed. Hair must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer when working in the lab.
- Tattoos Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually
- Piercings Visible piercings other than ears is prohibited. This includes nose rings, tongue rings, etc.
