Salary Range:
The compensation for this role falls between $280,000 and $408,000. The established salary scales set by the organization determine the minimum pay based on rank and/or step at the time of appointment. This position is part of the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, which allows for the possibility of additional earnings.

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking applications for a faculty role in the Health Sciences Clinical Series (non-tenure track) at the Assistant Professor level or higher, depending on qualifications. This position is situated within the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology, focusing on delivering outstanding clinical and surgical care to a diverse patient base. The division offers comprehensive Women’s Reproductive Health Care, including low-risk obstetrics, outpatient gynecology, and benign gynecologic surgeries, while also supervising residents and medical students at the only academic medical institution in Orange County, California.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a full range of obstetrical and gynecologic care within the faculty practice at UCI, including inpatient GYN care.
- Supervise resident continuity clinics at UCI’s Federally Qualified Health Centers.
- Engage in teaching and mentoring trainees at various levels.
- Participate in scholarly activities and maintain a private patient practice.
- Educate medical students, residents, and fellows.

QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
Candidates must possess an MD or equivalent degree, hold a California medical license, and have a Drug Enforcement Agency certificate by the start date. Eligibility for or certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology is also required. Strong clinical skills, medical knowledge, a commitment to teaching, and a record of scholarly achievements are essential, along with a genuine interest in serving our community's diverse populations.
