Compensation: $47.67 - $56.74 per hour

Position Overview:

The CT Technologist will deliver patient services utilizing diagnostic CT scanning equipment. This role requires proficiency in producing high-quality images that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. Additionally, the technologist must provide excellent care by exercising sound judgment and discretion.

Qualifications:
  • Required:
    • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
    • New Jersey Radiology license
    • ARRT Certification
    • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
    • Prior experience in CT imaging
  • Preferred:
    • CT Certification
Scheduling Requirements:

Evening Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Tuesday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist radiologists during specialized examinations
  • Exhibit proficiency in using RIS and PACS systems
  • Apply professional judgment and discretion in all imaging tasks
  • Ensure cleanliness in examination rooms and workspaces
  • Oversee the maintenance of CR cassettes and report any needing repairs
  • Maintain adequate stock levels in all procedure rooms
  • Conduct daily calibration and quality assurance checks as required
  • Report equipment issues to the supervisor and submit an LT work order when necessary
  • Utilize RadCode for billing related to specific interventional procedures
  • Implement radiation protection principles for both patients and self during examinations
  • Ensure proper positioning and technical settings to guarantee diagnostic-quality images
