Clinical Social Worker, MSW Complex Care/PACU 32 hours
Job Description
We are looking for an inpatient social worker to join our Complex Surgery Program and PACU. This role involves delivering a variety of clinical social work services to children, adolescents, and their families. The position is structured for 32 hours per week and is primarily situated within an inpatient medical unit, collaborating closely with a dedicated multidisciplinary team focused on patient and family care.
Primary Responsibilities- Conduct psychosocial screenings and assessments, provide counseling, and engage in crisis intervention.
- Offer resource information and referrals, and facilitate access to hospital and community resources.
- Provide psychosocial consultation to the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
A Master’s degree in social work is required.
Experience- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced multidisciplinary team environment, along with strong communication and consultation skills.
- Prior experience in medical social work is preferred.
- Experience in child protection and bereavement counseling is advantageous.
- Must hold a State of MA LCSW; State of MA LICSW is preferred.
This role is entirely onsite and qualifies for full-time benefits. Additionally, new hires will receive a sign-on bonus of $4,000!
