Clinical Social Worker, Outpatient Endocrinology
Job Description
We are seeking a full-time social worker (40 hours per week) to deliver a variety of clinical social work services to children, adolescents, and families within our Endocrine outpatient program, particularly focusing on patients with diabetes.
Primary Responsibilities- Delivering clinical social work services to support patients and their families in navigating personal, familial, medical, and environmental challenges.
- Conducting psychosocial evaluations and risk assessments, diagnosing issues, and creating as well as executing intervention and treatment plans.
- Engaging in the planning and execution of discharge and outpatient service strategies, while collaborating with healthcare teams and community organizations to ensure effective treatment and service delivery.
- Master’s degree in social work.
- Experience in a medical setting and familiarity with child protection matters is advantageous.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- LICSW licensure is mandatory in the state of Massachusetts.
This role is primarily located in Boston, with occasional coverage in Weymouth as required. New employees are eligible for a sign-on bonus of $5,000!
